Avro Bomber Vulcan

This unique project involved designing a one-off Avro Bomber–inspired livery for the only road-going Aston Martin Vulcan, commissioned for its appearance on the Gumball 3000 Rally and driven by automotive creator Mr JWW. The concept paid tribute to the legendary Avro Vulcan bomber, blending British engineering heritage with modern performance aesthetics.
To achieve true authenticity, I visited an actual Avro Bomber aircraft to colour match the paint and surface tones, ensuring the finished car captured the original aircraft’s distinctive look. The final design featured subtle worn-metal textures and RAF-inspired details, giving the Vulcan a striking yet refined presence.
The project was fully supported by Aston Martin Racing (AMR) and resulted in a visually stunning showcase of design precision, heritage, and craftsmanship, a perfect example of storytelling through automotive design.
